Hello Stranger....I hear you say. Well it has been a while....a LONG while.

My dry spell has turned into a whole year drought. So to inspire myself, I thought I would take a look through books I have written and see if it encourages me to start something new.

You see at the moment I have this...I CAN'T write thing going on in my head. My muse is missing! I will be whipping his ass when he returns!

So let's start with Guardian Awakening.

The beat kicked in, and Romy dropped her hip to the right, stepped back, and dropped her hip to the left. She swung round with her hands on her breasts, eyes half-closed, and really got into it. The music took over; she gyrated her hips toward him, and she slid her hands up and down her body. Today my sentences come from Guardian Possession, which is my second book in the Guardian Series. It is due to be released at the end of June so I am right in the middle of edits land with it.

Her heartbeat quickened the nearer he came to her. He leaned over her and slowly touched his lips to hers; her warm breath and softness met his rough, cold nature, and he knew he wanted more of her, in fact, all of her, now and always. His thoughts were in turmoil as he held her tightly to him. Her mouth opened, accepting his tongue's explorations, and he silenced the groans that came from her. One hand fisted her hair while the other he placed on the ground as he lay her down. She responded to his mouth; her hands went to his T-shirt, and he felt her try to tug at it. He stilled her attempts by grabbing her arms and holding them above her head, making her arch her back into him.

Guardian Awakening is my first solo venture. I waver between excited and petrified!
Excited that I will have a book out with only my name on it but petrified that no one will want it!
I suppose all authors face this with each release.

for me this book came out of nowhere. It was a case of opening a word document and starting to type. The character of Romy emerged first, quickly followed by Essen, who loomed right behind her. The story meandered out eventually and thanks to the team at Breathless Press, who have created the fabulous cover and red penned the whole thing within an inch of its life, it looks like it will be ready to come out.
