Do you know how hard it is, to watch a friend make a total mess of his life, see his punishments, watch him struggle—and be forbidden to do anything to help?

Until tonight…

That's been my lot, my brief if you like. Told to see a friend atone for his sins, and not do anything to make his way easier.

Mind you, Nick didn't just stray a little bit. Oh no not our Nick, he never does anything by halves. He sins and it's a mountain not a molehill.

So he suffered, and I guess you could say I did as well, because both he and his lady were so miserable.

Now at last it's the blood moon, and I stuck my neck out a bit… I'm hoping the guillotine doesn't fall.

I am Michaela Rhua and welcome to my Blog. As you can see it is brand new and this is my first post. I am really excited to be part of Evernight Publishing. My first release will be out later this month as part of an anthology of stories called 'Eclipse of the Blood Moon'. This is a collection of stories that all center on events leading to the Eclipse.
