Someone watches from the third floor window.
Cathy applies

make it ready, the house reveals its secrets.
Erotic romance,
with a twist of paranormal, set in contemporary England this story will haunt
you. (Graphic

Today we have a
visit from Cathy Faraday, the main female character in The Old Star
Hi
Cathy, Welcome to the blog, firstly tell us a little about the book you feature
in.
The Old Star is
the story of me looking for new office premises. I do find somewhere, a
converted house that ‘calls’ to me. It’s a spooky story but a love story too.
There’s some real life type things happen in the story to offset the darker
parts. I can’t say too much as it would be a spoiler.
Most
of us want to be different, so what is the one thing you wish the author had
done differently with you?
I like who I
am. I can’t think of much I would want to change. I really needed to meet the
leading man in this story. It was time for me to wake up a little sexually. I have
a business I love and make friends easily.
If you could have added something to the
story, and the author would have let you, what would that have been?
I think
it would have been to move into a new office premises, to complete that goal I
had, although there are good reasons why it hasn’t happened yet.
You get the chance to have the author
change your name what will it be?
Cathy
is okay, but yes I would have liked a more exotic name. Raven, Tasha, or Angel,
maybe.
What about the leading man, do like his
name?
Oh yes,
it’s perfect like him…for me…I’m in love with him so maybe I’m biased.
What do you like best about him?
He’s so
affectionate, so ready to make love to me. I needed that…I need it. He’s kind,
creative, thoughtful, brave too.
Give up three secrets about yourself:
No…okay,
but they are quite mild. I love sour cream and chive chips. I love sexy
underwear, it has to be black or dark blue, lace, sheer, just sexy stuff, even
when I’m in jeans and a T-shirt. I love walking barefoot on the lawn when it’s
rained. (smiles) I told you they were ordinary, but I don’t talk about any of
them…
Will you appear in any other books from
this author?
I don’t
think so. The story is complete for me.
Thank you for dropping by. Before you
leave, can you share one of your favorite parts of the book without giving too
much away and tell us why you chose it?
This is
hard because I love the whole book, but I’ll choose a lovely scene, it’s Owen’s
action and thoughts. I like it because it’s the start of his wanting me.
Snippet From The Old Star:
Cathy
gazed at him. He took a deep breath and slowly put out his hand to hold her
face and smoothed the place a frown had been.
“I
guess you have someone in your life waiting for you to get home. You wouldn’t
want to stay a while and talk to me about your plans for the place.” He kept
his voice low and looked at her lips. It was no hardship. He felt an
overwhelming urge to kiss her. He bent his head to be even closer to her as she
stayed there stilled under his hand and his gaze.
‘She has to be attracted to me. She
has to be, or she’d have shaken off my touch and be backing away.’
“I
don’t have anyone, special that is. I’d like to stay a while.”
Owen moved so slowly he felt as if he had entered
some dream state, but he reached her lips with his, and holding her face
gently, he kissed her. Her lips were soft and she kissed him back. It felt so
good he couldn’t pull away as he intended. He brought his other hand to her
head and ran his fingers into her hair to hold her. He kissed her until he felt
weakened. It was an unfamiliar feeling, but he liked it.
