Scented. Flash Fiction Friday #FFF

Friday Flashers have 100 words to tell a story based on an image.
Why not see what the other Flashers have come up with.

Scented.

He wanted to feel the sun one last time on his skin
and then to expire into nothingness.  Would rebirth
be his prize? The sun emerged in the distance. The forest began to awaken from its slumber. If he stepped into the light the pain in his heart would end. Alone, outside of his tribe was no place to be. Everything he had longed for was lost. Looking around him once more, he caught a scent in the distance. His body awoke demanding to claim. But the scent was not of his kind…it was his enemy…human and she was close.

Don't forget to pop along and see what other Flashers have come up with. Each one has a slight different take on the image. I'm off to check out the others!

#SexySnippets @TNScribblers #WIP

Welcome to another addition of Sexy Snippets.

Each Sunday we give you a taste of 7 sexy sentences from our work, whether published or not.

Today my snippet comes from a WIP - untitled as yet. Take a look and see what you think...(UNEDITED)

She cries out and frantically thrusts her hips, bucking and sliding on his face. He laps everything and I want to kill him for being allowed to taste her. She screams out and pants, then comes to a slow stop. His cock is longer than before, the veins on the side show how hard he is and desperate for release.
She climbs off. Kisses his forehead.
My orgasm is there, waiting for permission to be released. I look to the Mistress, pleading silently to see me, speaking to me.

She looks up at me, straightens her corset and says "No."

The Watcher. Flash Fiction Friday #FFF

Friday Flashers have 100 words to tell a story based on an image.
Why not see what the other Flashers have come up with.

http://flasherfictionfriday.blogspot.co.uk/

The Title came to me immediately, however the flash itself has taken a bit of time. Hope you like it.

The Watcher.

It was his job. The only thing he could do was watch her. He was commanded to watch and not intervene. Each flick of the whip that landed on the previous smooth caramel skin of her back, he felt. The only gift he could give her was to share her pain. Closing his eyes, he savoured each lash, the more he absorbed, the less she felt, until she finally collapsed in a heap on the muddy ground when her tormentor was spent. His heart reached out to hers, in that moment, the change began. His time on earth would  begin.

Don't forget to pop along and see what other Flashers have come up with. Each one has a slight different take on the image. I'm off to check out the others!

Raven Takeover...It aint what you do. @RavenMcAllan #newrelease

Blog takeover by Raven McAllan! (Pssst...it's okay she is calmer this week)

All together sing in tune It's not what you do it's the way that you do it, that's what gets results…
Or maybe it should be—sorry Bananarama —It's not what you pimp it's the way that you pimp it.
Constant promo, and what to do about it?
Maybe?
Now you are welcome to roll your eyes, and go and make coffee, but I'm betting I'm not the only one who gets fed up with seeing the same people pimp the same stuff ad nauseam.
Please don't get me wrong, I want to know about what my favorite authors have out next, who is new and excited, (and might become a favorite author) who has a five star (or a one star review), and yes I would like reminding about exciting things like that. Occasionally. Like once a day. Or via four or five different groups not ten or twenty.
Yeah, I'm sure I'm not the only person in a lot of groups, so a mass "tell all the groups I'm in" floods my feed on Fb, twitter etc. Hey we're all guilty of it especially when we're uber-excited, but stand back and smell the daisies a minute. If it annoys you, it's a sure thing it'll annoy others. I realized it did get me mumpy, and stopped to think. Hmm, right then. Ditch the info Raven, and drip-feed it.
The thing is, is that what to do? We're constantly told about the importance of promo. How we need to engage with our readers. And I totally agree. Because if we don't shout it from the rooftops who else will know to?
See a dilemma.
What exactly is engage? How do we hit that fine line of enough and not overkill?
For a while I got so paranoid, I was scared to post anything. Then I worried about what days I could post what, and where. A minefield. For myself, I wrote a list of what where and how. And did my best to use it judiciously.
I hope I've got it about right. (Feel free to slap me down, shout at me and tell me I haven't.) I still get concerned that it's too much, especially like this week when I have two books out on consecutive days. Yeah, yet again it's the 'Raven and the London Bus' scenario. Nothing for ages and two at once.
That's where guest blogs are so brilliant. You'll get the ohhh I have a guest post on Fb etc, but you don't have to read them.
Looks around
Maybe I'm rabbiting on to myself. You all have gone to make the coffee, scratch the cat behind the ears, walk the dog, or make love with your S.O.
So okay, this is today's pimpage from me.

And I'm going to be gentle with you.

On Thursday 21st, Peregrine's Prize, book 5 of Behind Closed Doors, (The Gretton Family Saga) is available from www.evernightpublishing.com

It's an editors pick, and she said…It's like Jane Austen but with great sex added…
Regency, and here's the blurb
They called him Prosy Perry.
Anyone who really knew him—like Maggie did—understood that was a façade to protect his secrets.
When danger threatened his family, and his lover, he dropped the role and the real Peregrine emerged.
Now all he had to do was unmask the traitor and live happily ever after.
Was it going to happen or was he destined to be alone again?

And on Friday  the first student of Miss Simpkins School enrolls at www.breathlesspress.com

Regency again.

Miss Simpkin's School—Flora.
Miss Simpkins' School. Where seduction's the game, and success is the aim. Let your classes commence.
Ex mistress to an Earl, who better than Molly Simpkins to show Flora how to ensure she gets what she needs from her marriage?
Flora's intended has idea she doesn't agree with. Angus thinks she should be happy to live at their Scottish estate whilst he spends his time in London.
It may be the way of the ton, but it isn't going to be Flora's way. This is her chance to show Angus what he'd miss if he leaves her alone. There's only one thing, she doesn't know how.
Luckily Miss Simpkins does.
And if you haven't had enough of me, you can pop over to my web www.ravenmcallan.com to find out about my books and my blog.

Thanks for reading (if you did)
Love R x

I don't have time to absorb the sight, as my Mistress trails a red polished finger nail from my knee and digs into the flesh at the top of my thigh. So close, my core awakens from its slumber and wants more. I look across to her and a faint smile plays on her red lips.
She is encased in a long black leather coat. I glimpsed tight leather trousers as she drove. But my eye is caught by the boots she is wearing; thigh length, buckle fastenings that are too numerous to count with four inch heels that look like steel and clink and clatter as she walks to the door, that must be the entrance. I long to see what she is wearing underneath.

Flash Fiction Friday Sweet Music #FFF

Well...Okay...So...

I feel like I need to introduce myself all over again.

Hello, I'm Michaela Rhua, Micky or Mik to friends...wife, mother, sister, lover...

I write...well occasionally...it has been that long.

This is me breaking my duck (I think that's the right phrase?)

I saw this image and it grabbed me straight away. Hope you enjoy my flash. Be gentle, it's been a while...x

Sweet Music

Each note tugged at her heart, drawing her closer. She saw her sitting in the very centre of the bare, stone room, eyes closed; absorbed in the magic she was creating each time her fingers touched the strings. The Mistress stood in the archway, watching the youngling from whose hands emerged a rainbow of colours that swirled around the room, stretching and reaching deeper into her own cold heart. She felt the warmth of the music begin to melt her core. Her mind knew what her heart struggled to accept. She had found her sweet music.
